Sorcery In America-"Addiction Crisis"

Most people don't understand the full meaning of the word sorcery.  Many see warlocks, witches and spells being cast and this word has been misinterpreted for many years.  While these things above are occultist and they are mentioned as well, through experiences of Family and Friends that have been grossly plagued with addiction it led me into a further look at something that was unexplainable and still is today by so many others across our country.Pharmakeia Defined

These things were predicted in the Bible so I will speak from experiences and also give Biblical doctrine on this subject.  I am 45 years old and I have encountered many forms of crippling addictions with people I love and many other relationships in my life.  I searched very hard to understand how this can destroy so many lives and until I discovered the root of this evil, there was no settling in my mind.

When I was 19 years old, my mother and I were discussing some of the truths from the word of God.  This was the very first encounter of truth behind the word sorcery.  She would often share things she learned with me and I would be simply amazed and out of the root of these discussions is where my hunger grew for the word of God and to understand it more.  Some of these discoveries that I learned changed my entire life.

The first thing I learned was the deception behind the word sorcery.  I will give you proof and the true translation of this word.  The English word sorcery paints a picture of a sorcery or witch casting spells on it's victims.  The Greek word, carries a much broader meaning.  And they did not repent of their murders, or their sorcery's or their sexual immorality or their thefts. Rev. 9:21  The word sorcery's in this scripture is pharmakeia.  This is where the English version of the language gives us the word Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical.  Now you can see this takes a total more in depth meaning and a greater understanding of the word.

The greatest cause for most crimes in America are the illegal drugs.  Most people that are now incarcerated in American prisons are there because of buying or doing hard core drugs.  The crimes that are connected to drug addiction are robberies, break ins, murder and the result of these crimes are linked to stealing money or stealing something to sell for money in order to support an addictive drug habit.

"AMERICA IS AN ADDICTED SOCIETY"

The pharmakeia spirit of sorcery is the chief spirit controlling the United States.  Millions have experimented with and are now addicted to many kinds of drugs including.
Marijuana
LSD
Heroin
Cocaine
Crack Cocaine
Meth
Ecstasy
Prescription Pain Killers
Antidepressants
 Steroids

"THE ADDICTION DEMON"

Millions of Americans are addicted to something.  Illegal drugs and for others, pornography.  Some can't break the addiction to gamble, and some are bound by alcohol.
Statistics on Alcohol
We spend 90 Billion on Alcohol each year
Over 15 million are dependent on alcohol, with five hundred thousand being between the ages of nine and twelve.
43 percent of Americans have been exposed to alcoholism in their families.
Alcohol would be deemed the number one addiction in this country but there are alarming statistics available to show the severity of America's Drug Problem.

1) Among teens age twelve to seventeen , the average age of first trying marijuana was fourteen years old.
2) In 1985 each day five thousand adults in the United States tried cocaine for the first time.
3)Today it is estimated that 25 million have tried cocaine.  Conservative estimates indicate there are over 3 million cocaine addicts in the United States today.
4)Heroin is a highly addictive drug, and its use in very serious problem in America.  There are over six hundred thousand people that now need treatment for heroin addiction.

America has been hypnotized by greed and addiction and it is being passed from generation to generation which is the very reason for this spirit at work.  Every sin in our generation is an assignment against the children.  Abortion stops the life of a child.  Drugs can make a man impotent.  Alcohol destroys families units.  Drug money support terrorism through out the world.  The attack is about the future seed.

As proof, we are seeing more child abuse, more molestations, and a greater rise in the numbers of pedophiles than ever before.
GOD IS LOOKING FOR THE INTERCESSORS

So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap  before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found no one.  Ezekiel 22:30
This is a spiritual problem and drug addiction is sorcery and Satan has his hold on these that are addicted.  Treatments have failed and locking people in prisons have failed.  The one and only hope for this cure in our land is knowing that Jesus Christ can heal and has and will deliver these that are afflicted.  The saddest part of it all is that the Lord can't help those that don't believe him.  You will never understand DRUG ADDICTION without understanding the DEMONIC INFLUENCE.

While you are dealing with someone addicted, you can't fix it or lock them away or give them treatment without the power of the Holy Spirit coming upon them to heal them and there is no present help for this until we return with prayers, repentance and taking back our children.  They are suffering and many try to find excuses of why our country is turning to ruins.  THE ADDICTED ARE HURTING AND DYING and there is no present help.  God bless you for reading and I hope you would pray for these.  God is there only clear and present hope.
Please take a look at the link I provided from a dear friend and prayer partner that is a published author.  Dan Calabrese is building a wall and standing in the gap through his fiction writings on these subjects.

For those Veterans We were Not Able to Thank

During the invasion of France, my Uncle Travis Stout was killed 2 weeks after being dropped into Normandy.  He was hit by a sniper.  He spent those two weeks living in abandoned cars.  I did some research on his company of the 82nd and found a special page in there memory.http://www.ww2-airborne.us/units/508/508_trp.html

At this time my grandmother had already passed away but my name sake aunt Rebecca Jean still survived.  I know my grandmother wondered about what he endured or the correct story of what happened to him.  After I sent in my uncle's picture to be displayed among his comrades.  My cousin Ricky Irvin did some more deep research of the men he served with.

Ricky made contact with the man that was with my uncle Travis when he was shot.  He told us of his bravery and he died right there by him.  His only surviving sister was taken to go visit this man and she got the exact story of what happened to her brother during those two weeks.  I wish my grandmother could have lived to speak with him so she would have been at peace.

It was an incredible story to have gone all those years not knowing.  I am so thankful I found this website and his comrades were contacted so my Aunt Rebecca could know of her brother Travis's bravery.  All through the years this boy Travis Stout was loved and his memory was kept alive even through we need got the privilage to meet him.

When the war started Travis was the only son of Holly and Bettie Stout, my great grandparents.  Travis kept seeing all the boys leaving and he was left behind.  He tried to sign up for anyone that would take him.  He wasn't drafted, he volunteered.  He had a flaw and couldn't seem to pass the physical because he was so flat footed.  He persistantly stayed after it.

He finally was accepted by the Army and the Paratroopers of the 82, and he was so excited to get the opportunity to serve his country.  He gave his all.  My great grandmother's only son, and he had no girl waiting at home and was never able to be a father.  I love my Uncle Bubbie so much for his patiotism and desire to serve and would not let up until he was accepted.

Just wanted to share a part of those that gave everything and didn't have to.  This is in honor of Travis Stout and very proud of the uncle I never got to meet.  Thankful my Auntie got closure about his death.  Thankful for the opportunity to post his picture and take him back into his group to once again be with those in Memorial.  God bless America.

Are We Able To Digest The Truth?

A great point that Paul makes and this does not account for unbelievers but those that are believers among you and this is so grossly misrepresented.

Paul condemns spiritual pride among those that profess faith.

1 Corinthians 5:9- When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn't talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard or cheats people. Don't even eat with such people. This is not speaking of unbelievers. He is speaking of those professing faith.

It isn't my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside, but as the scriptures say. You must remove the evil person from among you. Judgment clearly always starts at the house of God. Setting an example by the love we show one another and the unity of spirit. Iron sharpens iron, it doesn't melt it and throw it away it is for the building up to serve others and to not lead those that are weak or the unbelieving astray.

I will stake my place among those that don't believe and to those that are lost in the darkest of places to set a light for those that have no hope. People are hurting and we should operate much more like a hospital to these. We should not condemn and accuse them as they are not strong and this is abuse and clearly not what Christ intended.

God please prune me and break me if I ever become to Holy to hold out my hand to someone that doesn't know you. The Gospel is the commission of Christ and it is good news and it doesn't slap others around and knock them down when they aren't able to stand. This is spiritual abuse in every since of the word. If my brother corrects me and does so in a gentle manner do I conclude he is my enemy, God forbid but thankful he loved me enough to help me through it. We don't condemn or accuse the lost or misplaced. We are to be a light unto there path and we have to handle them with care. These scriptures demonstrate it perfectly and as Paul was the chief sinner and was called unto the Gentiles he boasted in his weaknesses that through this he might help save many. Our harm can be used for good and also help us with compassion. Please let us not injure the weak but bring correction with gentle love and understanding to our brothers and sisters. It is not about us and our pride and conceit do not enter in.

Why challenge one another with human wisdom it profits nothing, only ones personal gain of pride but to stand on the truth and to magnify love and to live in humility and to try to reconcile when grievances come but if that is not possible we must wipe the dust from our feet and move on. God bless everyone and Lord I pray you keep us in a lowly spirit and to be at peace with one another if that be possible and to not base our ministries on condemning, accusing those that do not know you. We need to examine ourselves because we may be the only Bible another human ever sees. May his light shine upon your hearts and may we forgive one another and to live in peaceful accord.

"Unjustly Condemned"

A Man Of Great Sorrows

Amazing prophecy of the Messiah, far before his birth that foretold all his sufferings and his plan for man kind to bear our weakness.

The Grand Designed Plan of our Creator Yahweh that was told many years before the Birth of Jesus.  Many believe that the Bible is only inspired by Men.  There can be no confidence of grand deceptions of this very thing, that foretold our suffering Savior Jesus Christ.  This is one of the most inspiring prophecies of Christ in the Bible that can not disprove he was the son of God.

Isaiah 53

Who has believed our message?  To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?
My servant grew up in the Lord's presence like a tender green shoot,  like a root in dry ground.
There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.  He was despised and
rejected.  A man of great sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.  We turned our backs on him and looked the other
way.  He was despised, and we did not care.

Yet is was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down.  And we thought his troubles were
a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins.  But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.  He was whipped so we could be healed.  All of us, like sheep have strayed away.

We have left God's path to follow our own.  Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.  He was oppressed and treated
harshly, yet he never said a word.  He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.  And as a sheep is silent before the shearers.  He did not open his mouth.

Unjustly condemned, he was led away.  No one cared that he died without descendents, that his life was cut short in midstream.  But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people.  He had done no wrong and had never deceived
anyone.

He was buried like a criminal, he was put in a rich man's grave.  But is was the Lord's good plan to crush him and cause him greif.  Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants.  He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord's good plan will prosper in his hands.  When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied.

And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins.  I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier because he exposed himself to death.  He was counted among the rebels.  He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.

This was a foreshadow of Christ to come and die for the sins of all and through it was written centuries before he came
how can any man deny that Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah was not the true living Son of God.  This illustration of his life to come is evidence of his true existence and why he came and why he died.  It was planned before he was ever known by man through the prophet Isaiah.  How magnificent this plan truly is and the proof that God is the God of all as Christ came to die for the sins of all, to all those that believe with a sincere heart.

Looking at Christ do we understand who he was?  Reading his full description, how can we magnify his example?  Are we being his example or playing games only to be accepted of men?  Looking at life and what blessings that truly come from this description, why is it that our eyes are so far from Christ?  Our traditions have blinded who he was and what he truly did and when he died in agony on the Cross it was finished to the letter.  Why do we want to send him back to that cross again?  Can't we just be real and come to the full understanding of what he did and his character.  There is no greater love than a man that lays his life down for his friends.

He wore a Crown of Thorns, he literally cried tears of Blood, he could have had his dynasty of millions on Earth but he rejected it all so that through his death we might live.

Why The Land of Israel?

A call to Repentance and The Lord's Promise of Restoration.

I posted prophetic scriptures from the Book of Joel and there is so much wrapped up in one place and tells what days we are living in and the very significance of Israel and the need to pray for them, even while yet our Leaders are pushing them to give up land by force.  Please keep them in prayer and I hope you will read further to help you understand why this is so very important.  I have never seen in the entirety of my life time such a call on so many people to share the Gospel and to totally fulfill the commission of Christ.  There is so much more and I pray the Holy Spirit will come and help you understand that all things are being fulfilled in God's designated time.  It seems so confusing because of all the chaos surrounding us daily but it still has no clear effect on the plans that God has laid out.  He is not confused nor is he filled with chaos.  He is a God of order and he is carrying it out to the letter of the Holy Inspired Word of God.  I posted a few Chapters in Joel that gives us some meat on the plans.  I pray the Holy Spirit would feed you well in his perfect time.

 Joel 2:12-32

...12)That is why the Lord says, Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping and mourning. 13) Don't tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead. Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish. 14) Who knows? Perhaps he will give you a reprieve, sending you a blessing instead of this curse. Perhaps you will be able to offer grain and wine to the Lord your God as before. 15) Blow the ram's horn in Jerusalem! Announce a time of fasting, call the people together for a solemn meeting. 16)Gather all the people, the elders, the children, and even the babies. Call the bridegroom from his quarters and the bride from her private room. 17)Let the priests, who minister in the Lord's presence, stand and weep between the entry room to the Temple and the alter. Let them pray, Spare your people Lord. Don't let your special possession become an object of mockery. Don't let them become a joke for unbelieving foreigners who say, Has the God of Israel left them?

The Lord's Promise of Restoration

18) Then the Lord will pity his people and jealousy guard the honor of his land. 19)The Lord will reply, Look, I am sending you grain and newwine and olive oil, enough to satisfy your needs. You will no longer be an object of mockery among the surrounding nations.

20)I will drive away these armies from the North. I will send them into the parched waste lands. Those in the front will be driven into the Dead Sea, and those at the rear into the Mediterranean. The stench of there rotting bodies will rise over the land.

21)Don't be afraid,my people. Be glad now and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things. 22)Don't be afraid, you animals of the field, for the wilderness pastures will soon be green. The trees will again be filled with fruit, fig trees and grapevines will be loaded down once more.

23)Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord you God! For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as the rains of spring.

24)The threshing floors will again be piled high with grain and the presses will overflow with new wine and olive oil. 25)The Lord says, I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you. 26)Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the Lord you God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be disgraced.27)Then you will know that I am among my people Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and there in no other. Never again will my people be disgraced.

The Lord's Promise of His Spirit

28) Then after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughter will prophecy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. 29)In those days I will pour out my spirit even on servants, men and women alike. 30)And I will cause wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. 31)The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn to blood red before that great and terrible day of the Lord arrives.32)But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, for some on Mount Zion in Jerusalem will escape just as the Lord has said. These will be among the survivors whom the Lord has called.

Glory to God on High to witness his mighty powerful working hand, I pray the Holy Spirit discerns you to understand the beautiful and terrible days we are living. Amen.

Smitty G's Forum Discussing The Harmful Effects of Bullying

I met Smitty G several years ago online. He is a bass player and I associated with him because of the musical aspect and we also are from the same graduating class and were raised in the same area. We don't share the same faith, but our hearts are in similar places about victims and the abuses of others.

I didn't change the post and left it just as Smitty G and friends shared this. I will be posting this as a blog for all to see and will also be sharing other aspects of bullying and if you have anything you would like to share, I would love to include your experiences this week.

We have to speak up for those that can't speak for themselves.
Even though Smitty G and I may not see eye to eye on our faith levels, I will tell you I have been greatly blessed by the laughter and random thoughts he has shared over the past few years.

Smitty G's Forum Discussing The Harmful Effects of Bullying

  •
  • The root of this problem are the bullies' parents. They are the ones we have to go after.

A society has one duty above all other duties: protect the next generation so we can hand the society over to them. This is why I feel that child preda...tors should be put to death. It isn't about whether the death penalty is a deterrent or an appropriate punishment, it is about our primary duty as a society--protect the children.
Parents who raise bullies have broken society's trust and produced a threat to the welfare of a society as a whole. Instead of raising their offspring to be productive members of society, they have raised them to be destructive. And they have taught their offspring, either through direct motivation or just being too stupid to do their damn job, to target our children. If our primary duty as a society is to protect the next generation, then we have to eliminate this threat.
Right now, there are no real ramifications for raising a bully. They get away scott-free for this crime against us all. Once we change that, I think we will see some serious movement toward cleaning up this problem completely. Now I'm not talking about taking the parents out back and shooting them, nor even an old fashioned horse whipping--even though these would be extremely satisfying on an emotional level. I think we just need to make an incentive for parents to do their job.
For the first offense of a child bullying other children, the parents get fined $1000 and they, and their bully-child, get to attend a two week seminar on how destructive bullying is to society and how they need to cut that shit out right now--all at the parents' expense. I'm willing to bet that 99% of all bullying ends after the first offense if you put this in place.
For the second offense of a child bullying other children, it is a $10,000 fine and they, and their bully-child, get a year's worth of social worker visits and therapy sessions, all at the parents' expense, to help them find the root of the problem and develop the tools needed to ensure it doesn't happen any further.
For the third offense of a child bullying other children, it is a $100,000 fine and the bullies get taken away from the parents and the parents are forbidden from producing other offspring or face time in prison. If they have other children who are not bullies, a case by case determination can be made if they have what it takes to do continue to do their job. But, in the case of the bully, the parents have already proved that they cannot do their job and society has no choice but intervene for it's own self-preservation.
You think this is too harsh? You think this is over the top? Let's ask the parents of any of the kids who killed themselves because they were bullied if my ideas are too harsh. Let's ask the parents of all those kids who died in school shootings if they think my ideas are over the top.
A society's primary job is to protect the next generation. If any member of a society cannot get with that program, the society has no choice but to step up and take care of the problem. Enough kids have been killed by this stupidity. It's time to put a stop to it now.See More23 hours ago · UnlikeLike · 2 peopleLoading...

  • Donna Standridge Funny you should post about this - At the same time you're posting, I'm composing and posting my own note. I agree with you. The parents need to be parents. By God, mine were.

  • Matt Keathley:  I can't believe I'm sayng this....lol

But you give a clear logical argument, and make a lot of sense. It does comes back to the parents, and we should hold the responsible.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith
Some of this may make folks wonder if I was bullied--of course I was. You want to know how to tell the difference between a former bully and a former victim? It's real easy. All the people who make any statement about how the kids need to toughen up or how bullying is just a natural part of growing up are the former bullies. When they were doing the bullying and now that they are adults, their mindset has always been the same--the victims brought it on themselves. They didn't see themselves guilty when they were doing it and they don't see anything wrong with it now.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith My step-dad taught me by example. He was a bully. I knew I wanted to be nothing like him. And I knew I didn't want to make others feel the way he made me feel. The strong have a moral obligation to protect the weak. Or, at the very least, not to make the lives of the weak miserable.

  • Matt Keathley
I was in high school during columbine. I was a "goth" kid, wore all white painted my face and nails when I could get away with it, the whole thing.

I remember at Texas high (yes bad time in life I briefly went to a Texas side school) the counselor called me into her office the next school day after the shooting.
She asked me "Do you have any negative problems with anyone?" I told her, "No one, except you now..." Needless to say that wasn't the right answer. But I was just so insulted, that if they wanted to question anyone, they didn't question a bully, but someone who wore a trench-coat.
Since I attended over 30 schools growing up, I learned a lot about bullies. I learned about myself too. Although I know its bad advice, what worked for me is this. The very first time someone tried to bully me, I just went ballistic. I wasn't the strongest or the fastest, but I could be the most crazy. I learned just attack them full force, jump on them and keep hitting until someone physically pulled you off. That way they didn't have a chance to fight back, because if they did I was done for.
After that I wasn't usually bothered too much as they thought I was too crazy and might hurt them.
Now the truth is, I should have tried to avoid a fight instead of running into one, and the bullies obviously shouldn't have been allowed to bully. Funny if all the students know who they are, why don't the teachers?

  • Becky Nelson Mcfadden
You are all over the top of this and absolutely right Glen. I would seriously like to share this and repost. These things are taught at home and in very many cases Bullies raise other bullies. Thank you friend as this has been your best ...posting ever. Please let me address an example that I was directly effected by.

I had no tolerance for bullying from my children and discipline was done, but also taught how to love certain individuals and to protect them and stand with them with others kicked them to the side. The disabled, the ones that were weaker, the ones that are brutalized from bullying. I want to get you also a twist on this case.
My son was in the 9th grade and in Athletics, The Coach went to the lounge and was gone forever. This bully picks the perfect time to jump on this kid ten times smaller and starts pounding him and has on boots and kicking him in the head and all the kids stood by and did nothing. My son kept watching the door for the coach and he couldn't stand by any longer because he was afraid this big dude was going to kill the weaker one.
He jumped in and the bully flew into him and he fought to defend his self. Now my son was expelled and I was fined 250.00 for my son saving a life. Went to the school and the Principal spoke to me and told me my son was a great Samaritan for saving the boy. Then the police ticketed me for 250.00 and he was suspended for three days. The bully got the same thing and also the one violated was fined and suspended to. O tolerance my ass. My son saved this boy and in this case what should have happened Glen? If my son had stood by and done nothing the boy might have died. Who was to blame? I clearly did my job as a parent. There was no teacher in sight. We also need to hold these schools accountable.

I've been living a bit of a lie for decades, now is a good time to chunk it. I have always said that I quit school band because I wasn't any good at it and that I wasn't having any fun. Well, I wasn't really that good, but that isn't why I ...wasn't having fun. And that isn't the core reason I quit.

I came to Texarkana just before the start of the 7th grade. So I entered Pine Street Junior High, and the 7th grade band, without anyone having any background with me. They didn't come up with me in elementary school. These two eighth graders (I can't remember their names, but I could pick out their pictures with 100% perfect recollection) locked on to me immediately. During that first year, they didn't have too much interaction with me, just passing each other in band hall and riding home on the bus. (Yeah, I was unlucky enough to live a couple of blocks away from these jerks.) They made things uncomfortable, but it was manageable with some avoidance routines on my part. I went to the band director; I was told there was nothing I could do. I went to my parents; I was told to quit being a wimp.
But that was just a warm up for the next year.
    The 8th and 9th grade band students were mixed to form marching band and those two got access to me like they never had before--and they made sure to use it to full advantage. While I wasn't very good in band, I was a drummer, I practiced every minute I could to try and be as good as I could. During that year, I just gave up. I had been given a drum set for my birthday just before the start of the 8th grade. By Christmas, you couldn't make me touch a pair of sticks on a bet. My job during the second half of the school year--carry the tuner. {Remind me to tell you the story of losing that at UIL competition for another round of torture memories.}
I quit band after that year. I realized that the only interaction they had with me was school band and that I was going to face that abuse for the rest of my school life. I didn't touch the drums again, or try to play music at all, until a group of friends in high school went to form a rock band and needed a drummer.
My single driving passion in my life, my music, was almost destroyed by those two. Do you think I didn't fantasize about killing their asses? You bet I did. Do you think I would have carried it out if I had access to a gun? Well, fortunately, we didn't have to find out.

G you are sharing some things that need to be broadcasted my friend. Would you have a problem if I posted this on my blog site. What you have discussed is something that needs to be in people's faces permanently. I just posted a note. It ...should go much further friend. I know you don't agree on my takes on everything............lol but I will stand up for this issue. I would like to publish this info to spread further. Asking before I blow it up. Seriously this needs to be discussed and shared and not just on your facebook page. Asking for your permission bud. You are such a great friend, yep I am going to yuck it up but you can deal with it.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith
Becky, your son did the right thing; and I would frame that ticket as a badge of honor.

When I was in junior high (and folks wonder why I want, even to this day, to burn Pine Street to the ground), I was in swimming class. Every morning, the  bus would get us from Pine Street, go grab the kids from Westlawn and then head to the college pool. One morning, while we were in the locker room getting ready to go swimming, this Westlawn kid, the biggest guy in the whole class, jumped the smallest guy in the class. I didn't even blink--I jumped him on the spot. And he kicked the ever-lovin' shit out of my ass. But, he never touched anyone else again for the rest of the year. I'm still proud of taking that ass-whipping.
Of course, back then, the schools didn't even pretend to give a shit. No one was ticketed or suspended. Nothing at all happened.
The swimming coach? Stood buy and let the whole thing play out. Once this kid exhausted himself pounding on me and the entertainment value was over, the coach told everyone to, "Quit horsing around and get into the water!"
Yeah--I think there is a special version of hell waiting for school coaches.

  • Robin Jo Townsend: The nastiest bullies that picked on my son all had parents who were *completely* complicit in their kid's bullying. I witnessed it firsthand many times. You are right about this.

  • Robin Jo Townsend: But there are some good effective anti bullying programs out there because we have learned we can't really change the bullies or their parents but what we can do (and it has proven effective) is change the culture of the "bystanders" to "up-standers".

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith I leave my FB posts as wide open as possible for all to see and share their views. So, yes, Becky, you have full permission to repost this anywhere you wish and put whatever views you have with it.

  • Robin Jo Townsend The 98 percent who aren't bullies or being bullied watch, scared to do anything because they are afraid then they are the target. When they get trained to realize that all of them together are more powerful and it's the right thing for everyone for them to all stand up to bullies...

  • Robin Jo Townsend When they see it going on, to say "dude that is NOT cool" and all of them, together, work to protect each other. The key is with the other kids. Teachers and parents aren't there every minute. The kids themselves, are.

  • Robin Jo Townsend Becky, give your son a HUGE hug from me, he is a hero and a mensch. You too, for raising him.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith Yes, Robin, for stopping an attack, the kids are the ones there most. However, they are NOT the cause of the problem--the adults, parents and teachers, that allow, or even promote, this crap are.

  • Scott Murrell
‎---(Just my opinion)...A bully's parents need to be sued for damages and need family counseling to focus on where and why this child found hostility more appealing than a peaceful co-existence. Some bullies lack structure and some suffer... from low self-esteem, some victims lack the ability to defend themselves or the desire to. Very complicated problem.

  • Robin Jo Townsend:  Smitty, they are the cause, but getting to them is a hit and miss, after the fact sort of deal. By all means hold them accountable, but in order to get a preventative and wide reaching and immediate solution to protect the kids, the bystander/up stander programs are the most effective thing developed, to date.

  • Robin Jo Townsend I don't believe, personally, that bullies lack self esteem. They have plenty of self esteem. It's other human beings they have no esteem for.

  • Ricky Kinney
I was bullied in school a few times until I started fighting back in high school. I wasn't a great fighter, but it only took a couple fights to show the people bullying me that I was done taking crap from anyone. There was a guy in my daughters school that liked to bully girls (still does). He got physical with them. No matter what the parents did or said, the school wouldn't do jack to this kid. I think they suspended him from soccer last year, big whoop. Anyhow, he's almost 18 and if he lays a finger on my daughter, his ass is doin time. Well, him or me. If the police turn their heads like they always do around here, it will probably end up being me, but I really do not wanna go there. Jail just ain't my thing

  • Robin Jo Townsend My son fought back once. Decked the guy. He was punished, bully wasn't: bullying CONTINUED, I was flabbergasted.

  • Robin Jo Townsend Took him out of "we love and pity our poor little bullies" PG middle school and put him in Pine Street. No problems at all until the same damn bully transferred into Pine Street (his mom probably got sick of all those victims making life hard for her widdle sweetums).

  • Robin Jo Townsend Kid was like "awRIGHT let the games begin!" with my son - started that crap again - Pine Street immediately, not amused at all, put their boot on his neck and the kid did NOT bother my son again. (he got shipped off to military boarding school eventually...I bet his mom STILL thinks he's perfect and none of this was ever his fault.)

  • Robin Jo Townsend It won't change until we have a sea change in our culture to where bullying is looked on universally with disgust and that behavior is met with "oh good going, jackhole, thanks for setting us up for a school shooting" instead of prestige like they get now.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith
The biggest problem is that the bullies, more often than not, are not the dejects and rejects, they are part of the most popular circles. The guys who bullied me were very popular and successful in school--they weren't the "thugs".

It is nice to hear that Pine Street eventually decided to take a stand against such behavior.

  • Robin Jo Townsend Yes, we are finding out now that most bullies are "popular" but often it's because everyone is sort of scared of them and they hold a lot of power and influence. It boils down to power; they hold power over their victims. With girls it's almost always the most popular "in" girls who do it. The others are following along and playing various roles.

  • Scott Murrell
‎---I still contend that bullies lack the something that sets normal people apart from them otherwise all people would be bullies. I think it's irrelevant about social status but as always I don't really know and might very well be wrong. The need to prove themselves worthy to someone is overpowering the need to fit into the social norm. I really don't know.

  • Richard Dager U are so right Glenn

  • Eddie McCraw I remember two guys, who happened to be best friends, at THS who bullied me the whole time I was there. Senior year they sat behind me in study hall and made my life miserable. There was no one to talk to about being gay at the time, and I was afraid that if anyone found out about my secret my life would be over. I thought about suicide all the time. I hope things have changed there, but I am glad to be living someplace else.

  • Eddie McCraw I know other people are looking forward to our reunion this month. NOT ME.

  • Frix Smith I know it will never happen, but there are some people in this town that should not be allowed to reproduce. The goody goodies are usually the ones who do much of the abuse but if you defend yourself against them you get punished as well. Some rules need to be changed.

  • Robin Jo Townsend Scott, what they lack is empathy for other people.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith
    Yeah. Something has to change.

I really thought we stood a chance when the shootings were going on. When the popular kids, the main breeding pool for the bullies, became the targets of bullets, I figured that was the final tipping point. Unfortunately, folks found it a lot easier to focus on the issue of guns or the negative influences of music than to ask the tough questions of what drove those kids to that point.
Eventually, enough folks will get to the point where they have had enough of this destruction. Of course, how many more kids will have to die before that happens? Far too many is my guess.

  • Eddie McCraw:  Other species, like cock roaches and horseshoe crabs, have been around thousands of years longer than humans. Maybe we are at the beginning of our development and will improve over time. I wonder if cock roaches experienced this much pain as they were growing.

  • Frix Smith It's a shame our school systems are left to teach morality to students. Parents seem to be doing a terrible job. Many abusive kids come from abusive homes and it's not always the ones who are better off financially. Many times it's the wanna bees that do the most harm.

  • Scott Murrell ‎---"Scott, what they lack is empathy for other people."Exactly, what in the experience caused this?

  • Jean Pierce:  Bullying has always been, it was bad in grade school for new or poorer kids and one was afraid to speak up or they might get picked on.   I have even seen students do it to teachers {making fun } . Back then no one ever thought of guns. It can make life miserable for some it is happening to.

  • Debbie Gilliam:  Trouble is, it IS a truly complex issue. And if you think that bullying ends when high school is over, take a close look at our modern "civilized" society. Bullies are everywhere and they thrive!

  • Robin Jo Townsend:  What do you mean, Scott? What in them causes this or what in my experience causes me to make that statement? I could not possibly answer as to what makes someone a borderline personality disorder so I can't answer the first one.

  • Robin Jo Townsend If you are asking the second, I make that statement from  my observations that they pretty much - lack empathy, or they wouldn't be deriving obvious enjoyment, repeatedly, from causing others misery.

  • Robin Jo Townsend Plus, studies of the brain activity of bullies are proving this out now - they react differently than normal people to images of other people in pain.

  • Robin Jo Townsend:  Many bullies "suffer" from narcissistic personality disorder. If you are expecting a whole lot of sympathy from me for bullies, I'm afraid I'm just not that big of a person. I used it all up on their victims. I hate bullies. I don't especially feel the need to apologize for my feelings on the topic either.

  • Robin Jo Townsend The backgrounds that are used as an excuse for bullying are experienced by other kids too who do not turn into bullies, so I don't buy it as an excuse. *shrug* I just can't work up any sympathy for them or their parents either.

  • Robin Jo Townsend: ‎"When close to being outwitted and exposed, the bully feigns victim hood and turns the focus on themselves - this is another example of manipulating people through their emotion of guilt, eg sympathy, feeling sorry, etc." http://www.bullyonline.org/related/family.htm

  • Robin Jo Townsend:  That's one reason I just can't buy into any big feelings of sympathy for the bullies...

  • Robin Jo Townsend
‎"Psychologists used to believe that bullies have low self-esteem, and put down other people to feel better about themselves. While many bullies are themselves bullied at home or at school, new research shows that most bullies actually have... excellent self-esteem. Bullies usually have a sense of entitlement and superiority over others, and lack compassion, impulse control and social skills. They enjoy being cruel to others and sometimes use bullying as an anger management tool, the way a normally angry person would punch a pillow." http://www.byparents-forparents.com/causesbullies.htmlSee More

  • Robin Jo Townsend If someone else has the heart and inclination to approach bullies with sympathy and understanding that's their mission, I guess, but it's not something I intend to expend my energy on. Too busy repairing the damage they did to people I love to have anything left over. Someone else can coddle them and try to understand and fix them but it won't be me. :-(

  • Robin Jo Townsend:  If bullying becomes socially unacceptable perhaps bullies will seek out a different way to deal with whatever is "making" them a bully - IF that is the case and it's not just a matter of them basically being a born sociopath, which unfortunately, is not fixable.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith It is with a bullet. Sorry; I have no sympathy for the bullies either. Never have, never will. I don't want to understand them; I don't want to fix them. I want them stopped. And I don't really care how far we have to go to stop them because I am absolutely positive the planet would be better if we ended their existence.

  • Robin Jo Townsend
Well, there's also the thought that if bullying is what creates bullies, then it's too late to "fix" the bullies already out there: but if they can be stopped from bullying other people, we can reduce the numbers of new bullies created. Which is why I'm more about making bullying as unacceptable as racism. We don't just shrug and say "racists will be racists." I don't see why we should shrug and say "kids will be kids" when we are talking about bullying as that implies that kids = bullies.
But then I have always leaned more towards behavioral therapy than psychoanalysis...

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith: Unfortunately, as I said, I don't think we have seen near enough destroyed lives to move the general public to give much of a shit. I wish it were otherwise.

  • Robin Jo Townsend I hope you are wrong. You may be right but I hope you aren't.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith I hope I am wrong too.

  • Cassie Page I hate bullies, I beat them up but I am only one person, I can't get them all. That is also what America does, we send our army to other countries to fight and guard against bullies.

  • Glenn Smittyg Smith Can we spare a few platoons to patrol our junior highs?
I was totally amazed by this entire discussion and felt it was worth blogging on.  There are some links that Robin posted and I will be sharing more of a Christian based perspective on bullying and what scriptures teach on this subject.  I appreciated the permission to be able to save this  and welcome all further comments.

"Keep me Far From Vanity and Bragging Rights"

All good things that are attributed to the way we live our lives is to the glory of God and not that of ourselves.  To be self less and to not be high minded of look at me, and look what I can do or the attitude of being superior over another.  Like those that pray repetitive unsalted prayers to be recited in the site of men, prayers only to be seen of men without sincerity.

Many are looking for gratifications of the self and often use bragging rights.  There is no good, no not one, we have all fallen short, only through God and the presence of the Holy Spirit through the unequipped can we become equipped and it should never be handled through bragging rights or superior attitudes causing us to pry into the lives of others without that invitation.

To be an example and encourage and to let your light so shine before men they will see your good works and your insecurities of what men think will not be present.  It is God we honor and not that of man to be built up by man.  God is a jealous God and what I do good I cannot with out the strength that comes from something higher than myself which is to love the Lord my God with all my heart and soul and to love my neighbor with a pure heart
and no need to seek the approval of others or to find my self above the other person.

To consider my self as a servant and a helpful attitude to extend compassion.  I need help with these things and that is what I am walking through.  My only want is to demonstrate love in a way that I so undeserving received it back and was accepted with all my weaknesses and quirks.

We are all growing faith on different levels.  Those that are new in there walk are as fragile as glass.  We can wound unknowing without intention.  Keep me lowly and without high pride in every person, not just those that profess to believe as I do but to love those that are broken and hurting and to not ridicule in my own wisdom that can grow high minded.

Your life speaks for it's self and we don't have to sound a megaphone to display it.  To enjoy the gifts that are freely given and to use them to the best of our ablilities to help one another and to grow into a greater understanding
of love and to be thankful in all things and giving our thanks to the bearer of gifts which is Christ Jesus that sent the Holy Spirit to reveal his every present glory of his grace and mercy allowing our grace to be sufficient and enough even when we fall short.

To take our eyes off ourselves and to grow and learn to love others and to be an example of love in all that we do even when we may not understand someone Else's path.   Let me be an example set apart from my fleshly thoughts so that I can love and be loved in return, that I can be

kind and tolerant and to be humble with others and not judge them according to my thoughts.  Let the window of the Holy Spirit reach out to them as I desire to grow in your presence and correct me and probe and prune the selfish ambitions of not holding up to what I expect of others.

Let no pride or self righteousness come upon us as we continue to love those around us.  Help us to speak kindly and not impulsively about other people's situations and be kind to them through this.  Letting the
Holy Spirit master over thoughts of my own and to be hopeful to all others, those of the believing and unbelieving alike.

The sun rises on the just and unjust and being kind and extending hands when needed and to never exalt myself above another person.  Praying for the goodness of all and to uphold those that are hurting and to express mercy and grace as it was extended to us through Christ while we were so undeserving.

Access of The Enemy

Knowing how to recognize the fiery darts of the enemy that fills the mind.

Up until the past couple of years this was something I had great struggles understanding and had very little knowledge of.  Growing in my faith I have become aware of attacks that come against each one of us, most assuredly when we are trying to stay on the right path.  Jesus even battled these same attacks and I listed a few to share and they help us to become from being totally overwhelmed by the power of it.  The power is only there if you allow it to creep into your thinking but man alone can not battle these things alone.

"When the Enemy Strikes"

Fiery Darts are spoken of in 1st John 2:16- Any thought of impulse that entices a person to fall victim to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is a fiery dart.

Words and para phrases to help you identify with them.

Fear-  You have good reason to be afraid right now and always.

Doudt- You can't trust God or trust that God will work in this situation for your good.

Lust-You need to have your needs met, and this is a fine way to get your needs met.

Loneliness-You are alone, you will always be alone, and you, therefore, will always be miserable.

Jealousy-You aren't being shown the devotion you deserve, and at the same time, somebody else is getting the devotion that should be yours.

Rejection- You are worthy to be rejected and cast aside.

Guilt-You should feel guilty about that sin, shame, shame on you.

Greed or covetousness- You should have that.  You deserve it.  You need it.

Unforgiveness-You can never forgive that sin, and even if you could, why would you?

Anger-  You've been hurt and you have a right to be angry.

Discouragement- You'll never have what you desire or be who you desire to be in this life.  Don't get your hopes up.

Pride-Your above all that, you shouldn't have to stoop to accommodate the weakness or poverty of another person.

The Access of the Enemy.

Temptations, doudts, accusations, justifications and speculations begin in the mind.  Our feet, hands, and bodies follow where the mind leads us.  It is in our minds that we remember, we understand, we make decisions, we fantasize, and we evaluate truth from fiction.  It is with our minds that we believe, we acknowledge God, and we make choices.  The battle ground with the Enemy is in the mind.

Many people wonder does the enemy have access to my mind?  Yes
Can the enemy send thoughts into my mind? Yes
Can the enemy speak to the heart? Yes
Now trying to be clear on several points.

First a thought is not a sin, it is when we entertain these thoughts and acting out on these thoughts that we fall short and sin.  Thoughts come-and it is what we do with those thoughts that matters.

The apostle Paul wrote,

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.  (2 Cor. 10:3-6)

My reason for posting this and why I feel so strongly there needs to be awareness of these things was because I was totally unprepared for these type of attacks.  I naturally wanted to be good and make the right decisions in life and my life didn't crumble in a day.  Not being prepared or understanding the other side.  The darker end.  We dream of growing up and getting married and having one partner and living happily ever after and in reality this is a fantasy unless there is like minded spiritual presence in relationships.

Being gullible and having to face these types of evils and these seeds coming into my thought process, never learning to discern the dangers of evil.  Unaware I trusted those around me, and when disappointment would come I inwardly blamed myself for every evil thing that was ever committed. me, believing all wrongs were in fact my fault and totally believing all these things listed above, and self hatred is very dangerous because when these things occur our minds are bombarded.  I never had a way of combating these attacks and many people are so unaware.  When we blame ourselves for the wrongs of everything, we become defensive and it also shows up in relationships and other ways we treat others.

These things are powerful strongholds and they lie to use like a slick crooked lawyer.  Being aware of what we fight spiritually can bring us into greater understanding of reliance upon God's word and the Holy Spirit that helps us through these things.

Traveling alone and unaware of these things can totally destroy our lives and breed hatred and also deep hatred of self.  I hope if you are struggling with some of these things you come to the realizations of the battles that cross our paths and how we can defeat the enemies lies.  It can truly be a matter of life and death and I pray for all to seek understanding and pray for the Holy Spirit to help you fight this good fight.  For the pulling down of strongholds and the spiritual strength Christ will prepare for you to Stand in the face of Adversity and total reliance upon the truth of God's Word.  It is truly a sword of your very life and also a protection and shield for all that you love.

Be blessed

"Micheal's Dream"

I have been sitting on this for over two years and not quite knowing how to share it or when the appropriate time would be to post this.  Michael Harrell is a personal friend of mine.  One of the very first connections I made through online ministries.  I was doing to fellowship site for my Church at the time we were acquainted.  This dream weighed so heavily upon me and I prayed God might use it to bless someone or to draw understanding of the Holy Spirit's intentions.  It is really amazing and I hope you can see some of the parallels lining up with the things that are shaking around us and I hope you are blessed.

"MICHAEL'S DREAM"

Normally I either don't have or remember dreams. I can't recall but a handful in a life time. Recently I've been asking GOD to speak to me in dreams and visions according to his word. At 2:30 AM this morning I awoke with this memory of a dream. I was to attend Church this morning with some Friends I'd met doing Prison Ministry. My Friend is the Senior Pastor of the church in question. My dream was a as followed. I entered the parking lot. The church building was a fairly nondescript Quonset hut type metal building on the outside.

Around the parking lot of the church were four Canopy Shelter tents. The kind used in events over tables. Each Tent was manned by a couple of church members who were involved in some kind of Ministry. I passed one through another being guided through each by a member finally arriving at the main entrance to the Church building. In the foyer of the building were two doors leading to the sanctuary. I passed thought the one on the left an immediately found myself again outside and on a hillside overlooking a large pasture (Ocala horse country) and way off in the distance I saw few people in small groups here and there and it looked like they were talking.

Notes The Sanctuary was an enigma Bigger inside than outside. I didn't understand and began praying asking GOD to make it clear what the dream meant. While I was praying for understanding about the dream I had this vision. I went through the other door. It led into a stock yard which led into a stock auction which was running at a almost frantic pace. Live stock was brought in from the chutes driven across the auction floor and sold as fast as the stock could be moved. Not sold by the head but herds sold by the pound. The only buyers were the packing houses. NO rancher, no breeders, no farmers were buying live stock. As often as the gavel fell the stock was herded into loading chutes and loaded into semi's for shipping to the packing houses.

There were many people sitting in the bleachers watching the auction apparently with little interest, and from time to time the watchers would get up and go down to the auction floor and become live stock and be sold to the packers and herded into the semis. I left the auction and went back to the other door. I saw groups in the distance and I walked towards them. I asked GOD who are these people? He answered that some are my workers and some are those who need the ministry of my workers. They are busy about my business. I didn't have to ask who were the spectators in the auction barn. I see this as a stern rebuke to the lazy complacent church, with the warning that not following GOD's plan is sin and sin leads to death. I believe the open beautiful pasture land is GOD's promise of Life to those who serve HIM.

I asked GOD for scriptural backup and He gave me this scripture. Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deu 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD swear unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

As I said in the beginning I'm not accustomed to operating in these gifts, and so it is new to me. I am interested in your thoughts and observations relative to this experience.  Be blessed.

Pharmakeia Greek Translation of Pharmacy Biblical Definition is Sorcery

Before you go diving into this article there are drugs that help us medically so I am not debating this issue but please read this article if you know of anyone under the seduction of drug abuse. This is not being taught and we are forever more depending on drugs for a spiritual healing.  My Mother shared this with me many years ago. Very important with dealing with a fragile subject as drug addiction. It is the hardest thing to break and is destroying our families, our children and breaking down part of our entire society.
PHARMAKEIA:

Drugs and Sorcery at the End of the Age. --A. Herstad Back
Most of us, when asked for Biblical signs warning of the nearness of the last days will mention Israel, or perhaps the Global Economy. Some will mention the famines, earthquakes and diseases; the "wars and rumors of wars" that sweep our planet.

Few, however, will think to mention DRUGS, SORCERY and religious DECEPTION as significant of the end times.

Even though these are foreshadowed in Scripture, they are only brought to notice through careful study with a Bible in one hand and newspaper in the other. So if you think your favorite recreational drug "isn't mentioned in the Bible", you have another think coming, because what you are doing falls under the heading of "pharmakeia", or in English, "sorcery", as we will prove in the following paragraphs.

The worldwide spread of psychedelic (Peyote, LSD); narcotic (heroin); and hypnotic (hashish) drugs fulfills the prophetic scriptures as one o of two forms of SORCERY that would lead the nations into rejection of Christ, and bring them into their final destruction as slaves of the Man of Sin, the Antichrist, under a New World Order at the end of the age.

Some may wonder why marijuana/hashish is included here. It's included because it, like the other drugs, produces an ALTERED STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS that leaves the user open to hypnotic, and therefore demonic suggestion. In the Old Testament, God forbids his people to engage in "enchantment" (hypnosis) and witchcraft (sorcery).

The following Hebrew words as defined in Strong's Concordance illustrate this altered state and it's occultic roots:

Strong's # 2267: cheber (kheh'-ber); from 2266; a society; also a spell: KJV-- + charmer (-ing), company, enchantment, X wide. (DIC)

Strong's # 3908: lachash (lakh'-ash);from 3907; properly, a whisper, i.e. by implication, (in a good sense) a private prayer, ( in a bad one) an incantation; concretely, an amulet: KJV-- charmed, earring, enchantment, orator, prayer. (DIC)

Strong's # 3909: lat (lawt); a form of 3814 or else participle from 3874; properly, covered, i.e. secret; by implication, incantation; also secrecy or (adverb) covertly: -enchantment, privily, secretly, softly. (DIC)

Enter: the New Testament
Yeshua
warned us in Matthew 24 of these things that would mark the last days before his second coming. Of religious DECEPTION, he says:

"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Matt 24:24 (KJV)
This verse is one of five or six times the Bible mentions MIRACLES in connection with DECEPTION in the last days. The fate of those who are so deceived is shown in Matthew 7:21-23:

"Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons AND PERFORM MANY MIRACLES?' Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'"
The means of this deception looks religious and perhaps even doctrinally plausible, but the methods of performing miracles is NOT. There is, in addition to false doctrine, a visible, hands on method by which the nations are being deceived. That method is SORCERY, and/or "witchcraft".
The New Testament mentions TWO kinds of sorcery: MAGIC (In Greek, "mageia") and DRUGS (In Greek, "pharmakeia"). The New Testament was originally written in Greek, and the distinction between these two types of witchcraft has been lost in the translation. But our Strong's Concordance and Vine's Dictionary of New Testament Words spotlight these deceptions, helping us to identify them so that we may take warning:

MAGEIA

(magic) The following is a Biblical example of MAGIC being used to lead others astray:

"Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, "This man is the divine power known as the Great Power." They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his MAGIC." --Acts 8:9-11 (NIV)
The Greek word for "magic" is listed in Strong's Dictionary:
Strong's # 3095: mageia (mag-i'-ah); from 3096; "magic": KJV-- sorcery. (DIC)

PHARMAKEIA

(sorcery, witchcraft)

"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and WITCHCRAFT; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. --Gal 5:19-21 (NIV)
The Greek word here used for "witchcraft" is:
Strong's # 5331:pharmakeia (far-mak-i'-ah); from 5332; medication ("pharmacy"), i.e. (by extension) magic (literally or figuratively): KJV-- sorcery, witchcraft. (DIC)

Vine's Dictionary brings this into perspective with the following:

SORCERY:

"Pharmakeia" (Eng., pharmacy etc.) primarily signified the use of medicine, DRUGS, SPELLS; then, POISONING; then, SORCERY, Galatians 5:20, R.V., "sorcery" (A.V., "witchcraft"), mentioned as one of "the works of the flesh." See also Rev. 9:21; 18:23
In the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Old Testament ca. 200 B.C.), Ex. 7:11,22; 8:7, 18; Isa. 47:9,12
"In sorcery, the use of DRUGS, whether simple or potent, was generally accompanied by INCANTATIONS and appeals to OCCULT powers, with the provision of various charms, amulets, etc., professedly designed to keep the applicant or patient from the attention and power of demons, but actually to impress the applicant with the mysterious resources and powers of the sorcerer."
So in conclusion, the person who uses ANY of the drugs mentioned here is giving himself over to the will of another--that chief Sorcerer himself--Satan, the enemy of our souls. Christ died to save us from slavery of sin, from the power of Satan and the penalty of Hell.
When a believer engages in these activities, he is in effect denying his Lord the honor due him: who's shed blood purchased the believer's eternal redemption. The Bible says:

"You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men." -1 Corinthians 7:23

"Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts."--Rev 9:21

" No Silence Inside Myself"

There are many people that are trying to bring awareness through all of this corruption and it does bring us to one place. As these things take place we will all be accounted as one. It is not my concern of what people do, I am clearly not there judge and don't choke others with the word of God. This is pointless and only breeds more divisions among people. This is my point, our concerns are motivated by love even in spite of the anger. We all have concerns for our families and that is why there is such a strong need among people right now. I have friends that educate me on things I was totally unaware.

I have knowledge of the scriptures but to much trust we have given over to the Government to think they will do the right thing. Good honest working people that love and we aren't in the streets stirring up havoc upon other lives. We are quiet, tolerate and private people that just want to take care of our families and live in peace but while the government is infringing things upon us, it is making it less possible to live peaceable lives and raise our children. I believe in a Sovereign God but there is a voice inside of every rational man and woman that is defiled by injustice of corruption it rises up to the surface and you began to question yourselves about whether you should speak or remain silent.

I don't condemn homosexuals I pray for them. I don't condemn doctors that preform abortions, I again pray for them. I have many of my own wrongs to make right. I don't care about the mosque across the City but why do they seek to blow up my Church and there rights are greater than ours. This is the unsilent inside myself. I am being choked by not being allowed to raise my children based on my values to bring them up with the morals that are en stilled in me. Everyone should be respected to do this for there own children. We are no longer allowed, this has been stolen in the public schools.

I don't base my friendships with others upon my beliefs because I see people as human beings. What are we fearing? Our government has become our enemy. We are the good guys, the hard workers that built things under the blood of thousands of others that died. If someone chooses to be Gay, that is their personal choice because we have a choice of free will which is a beautiful thing. Don't tread on my children to teach them this while I am trying to instill the morals that I see fit for them. This destroys and breaks down our homes. We are the enemy, the free. We are being choked in a strangle hold and the more silence remains the more we are complacently being driven into slavery. I pray for people to learn, to wake up and snap out of it. It is under your nose while you are still wondering if Elvis is alive.
