Are We Able To Digest The Truth?

A great point that Paul makes and this does not account for unbelievers but those that are believers among you and this is so grossly misrepresented.

Paul condemns spiritual pride among those that profess faith.

1 Corinthians 5:9- When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn't talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard or cheats people. Don't even eat with such people. This is not speaking of unbelievers. He is speaking of those professing faith.

It isn't my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside, but as the scriptures say. You must remove the evil person from among you. Judgment clearly always starts at the house of God. Setting an example by the love we show one another and the unity of spirit. Iron sharpens iron, it doesn't melt it and throw it away it is for the building up to serve others and to not lead those that are weak or the unbelieving astray.

I will stake my place among those that don't believe and to those that are lost in the darkest of places to set a light for those that have no hope. People are hurting and we should operate much more like a hospital to these. We should not condemn and accuse them as they are not strong and this is abuse and clearly not what Christ intended.

God please prune me and break me if I ever become to Holy to hold out my hand to someone that doesn't know you. The Gospel is the commission of Christ and it is good news and it doesn't slap others around and knock them down when they aren't able to stand. This is spiritual abuse in every since of the word. If my brother corrects me and does so in a gentle manner do I conclude he is my enemy, God forbid but thankful he loved me enough to help me through it. We don't condemn or accuse the lost or misplaced. We are to be a light unto there path and we have to handle them with care. These scriptures demonstrate it perfectly and as Paul was the chief sinner and was called unto the Gentiles he boasted in his weaknesses that through this he might help save many. Our harm can be used for good and also help us with compassion. Please let us not injure the weak but bring correction with gentle love and understanding to our brothers and sisters. It is not about us and our pride and conceit do not enter in.

Why challenge one another with human wisdom it profits nothing, only ones personal gain of pride but to stand on the truth and to magnify love and to live in humility and to try to reconcile when grievances come but if that is not possible we must wipe the dust from our feet and move on. God bless everyone and Lord I pray you keep us in a lowly spirit and to be at peace with one another if that be possible and to not base our ministries on condemning, accusing those that do not know you. We need to examine ourselves because we may be the only Bible another human ever sees. May his light shine upon your hearts and may we forgive one another and to live in peaceful accord.
