Who is it that You Say You Are?

When Jesus went to speak to the Religious Leaders of his day, they ask him a question?  What sign will you show and and tell us the truth of who you really are.  Jesus let them know that he had already told them who he was and they did not believe him.  In all the miracles that were performed and the scrolls that revealed him in prophecy and also raising the dead they would not believe him because it did not fit there agenda of what they wanted.  They wanted to be free from oppression and Jesus was just to ordinary to be the true Messiah in there working agenda.

The ones that believed on him were the rejected and broken so taking this into consideration, they did not care about there personal agenda or there material needs.  They put all they owned together to be able to spread the gospel.  In all of our struggles what are we doing with our idle time?  What are we really doing for Jesus, we are all called into the disciple ship of Christ when we believe him.

Are we to worried with our own personal agendas to put that aside to take time out of our day to be excited like the disciples were? They gladly went to there death because the fire from the Holy Spirit was kindled so much that death and the loss of materialism was not a factor at all.  I am sure they feared death and inadequacy but did this stop them.  12 men and a Redeemed Christian Killer spread his words to the 4 corners of the Earth.

What is stopping us?  Do we doudt his promices, what power he has over our lives? 12 losers and one killer turned the world upside down...........Does he have to show us any more miracles in order for us to question him as the Religious leaders did?  Jesus does not always match our agenda when we turn it over to him but him knowing the desires of our hearts will give us more Joy that the human mind can take.  Fear, will stop our progress.  Only to forget ourselves and to focus on what plans he has for our lives. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God................the Kingdom doesn't stand still or stagnate on a pew to win a ticket into heaven in the clouds..

When we rise above our own thinking and listen to his voice to walk, move, and speak, we are demonstrating our faith.  Without that demonstration we can't hear him.  He gives us a free will because he just wants us to be real with him.  He already knows your needs before you ask them because he ponders upon our hearts and knows our very thoughts. Can you discern what he is saying to you?
